You’ll see everything from tightrope walking to skilled work on the trapeze, trampoline, unicycle and teeterboard, plus stilt walking, cycling, juggling and more at Triton Troupers Circus, 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, plus 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17-19, in the Collins Center Gymnasium at Triton College, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove. And there will be lots of clowns.

“There’s an actual class called ‘Circus Arts,'” related director Terry White. Students who take that class perform in the Triton Troupers Circus.

“It’s my 39th year with Triton Circus,” White said. “I started off as a gymnast here in the mid ’70s, then went away to school and came back in ’80. Ever since then I’ve been involved every year.” White has stayed with the circus because of the joy of “seeing people work for years and then accomplish something.”

There will be over 50 performers and more than 25 others helping with offstage duties.

Tickets are $6 cash at the door.

For details, call (708) 456-0300, ext. 3383 or go to tritontrouperscircus.com.
